The Hialeah Police Special Investigation detectives conducted a search warrant that led to two arrests after synthetic drugs were found within a business.Authorities arrived at a smoke shop, located at 4775 Palm Avenue, and arrested Delby Ham and Nancy Diaz-Galeas after detectives found 30 pounds of packaged synthetic cannabinoids.The two were charged with trafficking and selling synthetic cannabinoids within 1,000 feet of a school and park.Ham and Diaz-Galeas submitted bonds, but have yet to appear in court. They are being held in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

(CNN) — The FBI is warning consumers against using public phone charging stations in order to avoid exposing their devices to malicious software.Public USB stations like the kind found at malls and airports are being used by bad actors to spread malware and monitoring software, according to a tweet last week from the FBI’s Denver branch. The agency did not provide any specific examples.“Carry your own charger and USB cord and use an electrical outlet instead,” the agency advised in the tweet.While public charging stations are attractive to many when devices are running critically low on battery, security experts have for years raised concerns about the risk.
