HOYLAKE, England (AP) — Brian Harman kept his five-shot lead after the first nine holes in the final round of the British Open.The gap was down to three shots after he made bogeys on the second and fifth holes, but Harman recovered with consecutive birdies on the sixth and seventh. Police investigating after daylight shooting leaves 33-year-old man wounded in Concord, NH

Authorities in New Hampshire say there is no danger to the public after a daylight shooting left a man with non-life-threatening injuries in Concord on Saturday.The Concord Police Department said the 33-year-old victim was found and taken to a hospital after officers were called to the area of 76 Basin Street around 2:30 p.m.In a news release, the department said that all individuals “involved in the incident” had been identified and that as an investigation into the shooting continues, no threat was posed to the public.Officials did not say whether any arrests had been made yet or if anyone was facing charges, and asked that anyone who may have information on the shooting reach out to the Concord Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 603-225-8600.Those who wish to submit a tip anonymously can do so via the Concord Regional Crimeline at 603-226-3100 or online at at the Concord Regional Crimeline website.

SAN DIEGO -- The National Weather Service warns of possible lightning strikes in San Diego County's deserts and mountains Sunday.According to weather officials, isolated showers and storms are possible for the morning hours with cloud cover potentially impacting thunderstorm development over parts of the mountains and deserts into Sunday afternoon. BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — A weekend deck collapse at a Montana country club has left up to 25 people injured, police and local reports said. Emergency services responded to a report that a patio had collapsed at the club in Billings at 7:50 p.m. Saturday, the Billings Police Department said in a statement posted on social media.There were “multiple individuals with injuries” but no fatalities and a large number of people were taken to local hospitals, Billings Police Lt. Fast-growing fire near Kamloops, B.C., prompts evacuation alerts and orders

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — An early morning house fire in San Antonio killed three people and injured three others, the city’s fire chief said.One woman died at the scene and two others — an adult and a child — later died at a hospital.
