Man arrested, accused of illegally killing 3 bears in Colorado

DENVER (KDVR) -- A Howard man was arrested and accused of illegally killing three bears, according to Colorado Parks and Wildlife.On Sept. 29, CPW officers found three bears -- a sow (adult female) and two cubs -- that had been killed and dumped southeast of Salida. CPW Officers had been responding to several anonymous tips and reports on social media about an alleged poaching incident.An investigation led the officers to obtain a search warrant on Saturday for a home near Howard. A reported shooting in Miami Beach has sparked an investigation by Miami Beach Police, leading to a luxury car being towed and allegations of code violations at a home.According to police, just before 7 p.m. Sunday evening, officers responded to the 4700 block of Alton Road in Miami Beach regarding a reported shooting.Anna Minadakis, a nearby resident, told 7News that her son witnessed a suspicious person wearing a ski mask across the street.“We heard three shots being fired and he said he saw a guy across the street, he had a ski mask, a black ski mask on,” Minadakis said. A man was arrested for disrupting a Shabbat service using antisemitic language towards synagogue-goers in Sunny Isles Beach, officials said. According to officials, Yudel Antonio Herrero, 47, stood outside King David Chabad and used a shofar (ram’s horn) to disrupt the worshipers’ prayers on Saturday.
