GRAFTON, Wis. Josh Clouse, a Cameron Police Department officer who was killed on duty last week.The Heart of Texas Networking Group will be taking donations on behalf of the Clouse family. NYSP: Saratoga man arrested for menacing victim with a pickaxe

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Saturday, a Saratoga man was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Menacing, and Harassment. Police say William P. During the altercation, Grewen allegedly swung a pickaxe at the victim multiple times. No one was struck and Grewen left the area before police arrived.Police arrested Grewen the next day. Moving forward, the orchestra will now be known as the Schenectady-Saratoga Symphony Orchestra. Alton PD looking for vehicle tied to homicide

ALTON, Ill. - Homicide detectives with the Alton Police Department are asking for the public's help to solve a recent fatal shooting.Police say Tyrone "Marty Lo" Williams was shot and killed on May 10 in the 1600 block of Rock Spring Drive. Williams was 20.A silver Chevy Malibu is believed to be connected to the crime. Busch Light brings 'corn cans' back to celebrate, support farmers

LOUIS - Busch Light is bringing back its popular corn cans to celebrate and support American farmers.The cans, which look like a stubby corn on the cob with the Busch Light logo affixed to it, are being sold through July 2023.For every case of the corn cans sold, Busch Light will donate 25 cents (up to $200,000 total) to Farm Rescue, a nonprofit that provides equipment and volunteer workforce to farmers and ranchers who have experienced a major illness, injury, or natural disaster.Busch Light has donated nearly $1 million to Farm Rescue since 2019.Founded in 2005, Farm Rescue has helped more than 850 farm families in the United States.

Stormwater flood at Suncor’s Commerce City refinery leaked benzene into nearby irrigation ditch

A stormwater flood at Suncor Energy’s refinery in Commerce City last week leaked benzene into the Burlington Ditch where it flows through the Denver’s wastewater treatment plant property, but state health officials say pollution levels did not threaten human health or drinking water.Low levels of benzene were found in water samples taken by Suncor, according to a Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment news release. Suncor’s samples reported benzene levels at 0.18 micrograms per liter, and the permitted level for benzene is 5 micrograms per liter.The Water Quality Control Division sent a stormwater permit inspector to test the water and confirm Suncor’s self-reported findings.“The current flooding at the facility seems not to have caused a public health risk, but we will continue to monitor the situation and update everyone accordingly,” Trisha Oeth, CDPHE’s director of environmental health and protection, said in the news relea...
