CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WJZY) -- A Florida mother is suing American Airlines after she claims her two children, both under the age of 16, were left in a cold 'lost children's room' overnight with no food or water, at Charlotte Douglas International Airport after several flight delays, court documents state. According to court records, the two children live with their mother in Jacksonville, Florida. They were flying as unaccompanied minors with American Airlines on July 30, 2022, from Missouri, where they visited their father, to Syracuse, New York, to see family.The flight to Syracuse had a connecting flight with a layover in Charlotte, documents state. The flight from Missouri to Charlotte was delayed, and then the flight from Charlotte to Syracuse was delayed several times before it was finally canceled. AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Rain coverage will continue to increase this evening and tonight as a trough of low pressure forces rain our way from the southwest.Tonight through early Monday morning should bring the most widespread rain with near 80-90% of Central Texas getting wet.As we head through Monday we'll see widespread rain tapering off to scattered showers. Lingering showers should continue through Monday night before drier weather return on Tuesday.Rain tapers to showers on MondayRainfall looks beneficial, but amounts don't look all that high. Most areas should pick up 0.25"-1.0" by the time we wake up Tuesday morning. The service disruption is due to safety concerns caused by structure issues with a privately owned, non-Amtrak building above the Empire Line tracks in New York City. Aurora police asked for the public’s help Sunday in solving a year-old homicide that happened on South Crystal Way.Just after 3 a.m. on Nov. 12, 2022, Aurora police officers responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 900 block of South Crystal Way, according to a Sunday news release from the department.When officers arrived at the scene, they found one man lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound, the news release stated. In many respects, Dan Rusanowsky is the first San Jose Shark to have a spot in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.Of course, several players who have worn the Sharks uniform are in the Hall, with former San Jose goalie Mike Vernon among the Class of 2023. Former Sharks general manager and captain Doug Wilson was inducted two years ago.But those ex-Sharks players were largely voted in because of their accomplishments with other teams.
