Dartmouth tells NLRB that basketball players are students – for real – not employees

Police: Juvenile stabbed at Denver elementary school

DENVER (KDVR) -- A juvenile is in custody after allegedly stabbing another juvenile at a Denver elementary school Thursday.According to the Denver Police Department, the stabbing happened at Marie L. Greenwood Early-8 in Montbello. FOX31 Newsletters: Sign up to get breaking news sent to your inbox The juvenile who was stabbed was taken to the hospital, but DPD said their condition is stable.The suspect in the stabbing is in custody, DPD said.Denver Public Schools is assisting DPD with the investigation.This is a breaking story. UPDATE: THURSDAY 10/5/2023 3:09 p.m.(FREMONT COUNTY, Colo.) — The Fremont County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) said a funeral home is under investigation after a search warrant revealed "improperly stored" human remains.FCSO said in a press release that deputies originally responded on the evening of Oct. 3 to 31 Werner Road in Penrose on a "suspicious incident." A no swim advisory was issued by the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County. The warning comes after two consecutive water samples were found to have unsafe levels of a highly toxic fecal bacteria that can pose major health risks to humans.Beaches under the advisory include Crandon Park North and South, Haulover Beach North and South Pointe Drive Beach.Officials suggest avoiding water activities in these areas until further notice.

Some football fans as well as veterans are being told their hotel reservations were canceled ahead of the Army-Navy game at Gillette Stadium, as the state continues to try and find emergency housing for migrants.The game will kick off on Dec. 9, but more than two months ahead of time, football fans and a travel agent who spoke with 7NEWS described seeing reservations get axed as the state looks to find shelter for migrants arriving in Massachusetts.It’s part of a situation that previously led Governor Maura Healey to activate some 250 National Guard members, and was also the topic of a virtual meeting held between state officials and the state’s Washington, D.C. delegation on Thursday.“We stressed to them that we need help,” said Massachusetts State House Speaker Ron Mariano.The plea came after Gov.
