Two people were shot in the area of St. James Street in Roxbury early Friday morning, according to police.Officers blocked off an area of the road and a canine unit was brought in to search for evidence or a suspect. Truck dangles on overpass in Pennsylvania after tipping over

Emergency crews in Pennsylvania have removed a tractor-trailer that was hanging over an overpass near Pittsburgh.The incident happened at the intersection of I-79 and I-70 in Washington County. Portions of the highway were shut down Wednesday as crews worked to remove the truck safely. Part of the truck’s cargo, a pile of cardboard boxes, spilled onto the ramp below. Officials have not said if anyone was injured or what caused the incident.

Police: Estimated 1 million dimes stolen from truck in Philadelphia

 PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Police are investigating after someone broke into a trailer containing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of dimes in Northeast Philadelphia.The discovery was made around 6 a.m. Thursday in a Walmart parking lot on the 4300 block of Byberry Road.Police on the scene say an estimated one million dimes, worth $100,000, were stolen.A total of $750,000 worth of dimes were in the truck, police said.Dimes were found scattered from the Walmart parking lot to Woodhaven Road.Action News has learned the truck driver picked up the dimes from the Philadelphia Mint on Wednesday, but then went home to get some sleep before a long drive to Florida.So, the truck driver parked the big rig in the Walmart parking lot.When he came back Thursday morning he found the trailer door was open.“They were trying to cross-load the dimes into other things. New numbers from the construction industry reveal what many GTA drivers probably already know — Toronto is in a construction boom.There are nearly 250 cranes in use in the city right now, according to the latest Crane Index from Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB). That’s more cranes than New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, and Washington. D.C., combined.In fact, the 12 U.S. cities measured in the index had a combined 259 cranes in use compared to 238 in Toronto. Ontario’s capital has nearly 200 more cranes than second-place Seattle (51). The only other Canadian city on the index, Calgary, currently has 20 cranes in use.Toronto is experiencing a construction boom right now.
